The Moberly Parks and Recreation department unveils its new lodge this weekend at Rothwell Park. The lodge is nestled between the Riley Pavilion and Meinart field on the west end of the park, and will host the home and garden expo starting at noon Friday. With a full kitchen, an 80 by 33 foot main hall and large patio to come in the rear, the building will serve a variety of purposes. The lodge features a stone and wood exterior with a covered driveway approach, stained concrete floors, and a 19 foot tall stone fireplace.
Bork says the openings to book the lodge for an event are already limited......

Total cost of the project including paving in the area will come in at a little over $600,000.
