Three Rivers scored the first 16 points, en route to a dominating 74-59 win over MACC in the Region 16 men's championship at Jefferson College in Hillsboro last Saturday night.
The Greyhounds didn't get within single digits the entire game, after the Raiders fast start. Three Rivers led 41-20 at halftime, and went 6-6 on three-pointers in the second half, to maintain its dominance. The Raiders shot 73% from distance overall.
Marquise Carter led Three Rivers with 26 points and seven assists. Karron Johnson topped the Greyhounds, with 15 points and five rebounds. Moberly head coach Jay Spoonhour's team shot just 37% from the field, and 52% from the free throw line...

Three Rivers is now 26-6, and has won its fourth straight Region 16 postseason tournament crown. The Raiders will now host the district championship game Tuesday night, against Kankakee, Illinois. The winner of that game will advance to the national tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas.
