had a request for cookies with a substitute for eggs....these recipes, which don't include eggs, were called in.....

"Russian Tea Cakes"

1 cup butter or margarine
1/3 cup sugar
2 tsp water
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup finely chopped nuts
soften the butter or margarine before, cream the butter and sugar, add water and vanilla, mix well, add flour and nuts, chill for 3 hours, shape into little balls, bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven 325 degrees, about 20 minutes, cool slightly, and roll in powdered sugar

"Russian Tea Cakes"

1 cup soft butter
1/2 cup of sifted powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 1/4 cup flour
1/4 of a tsp salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts
mix butter, sugar and vanilla thoroughly, measure flour by sifting, blend the flour and salt, and stir in, mix in nuts, chill, heat oven to 400, roll into 1 inch balls, place on ungreased baking sheet, bake 10 to 12 minutes, while still warm roll in powdered sugar, let cool, roll in sugar again, makes about 4 dozen.

"Treasure House Cookies"

can of 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1/2 cup butter softened
1 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 1/3 cup flaked coconut
1/2 cup white chips
1/2 cup chocolate chips
cup of chopped walnuts
beat the milk and butter until blended; combine the graham cracker crumbs, flour and baking powder; add to the condensed milk mixture and mix well; stir in coconut, chips and walnuts; drop on an ungreased cookie sheet, bake at 375, for 8 to 10 minutes, serves four dozen

1 1/2 oz of light corn syrup...how many tablespoons or teaspoons??
1 OZ EQUALS 2 TABLESPOONS..HAS TO BE STANDARD AND LEVEL...so, 1 1/2 EQUALS 3 TBSP
OR 9 TEASPOONS

Candy too hard...anything to do with it....used marshmallows
CALLER SAID TO MAKE COOKIES SOFT, PUT IN A CLOSED CONTAINER, AND PUT IN A SLICE OF BREAD.
..DOESN'T KNOW IF IT WILL WORK FOR CANDY.
