Following a plea agreement between the state and her defense attorney, 26-year old Cassidy King appeared in Randolph County Circuit Court Tuesday morning and entered guilty pleas to a couple of past drug charges, and felony manslaughter in the death of her child last year. Chariton County Judge Andrea Vanderlicht accepted the agreements.

According to court records, King is accused of throwing her baby boy into a pond near Higbee in a weighted dufflebag between April 15th and May 8th of 2012.
