BUDDY PACK PROGRAM NEEDS YOUR HELP

In January of this year, The Food Bank of Central and Northeast Missouri started the Buddy Pack Program to help provide nutritious food for kids over the weekends. The program started in five schools in three counties, and it has grown to now serve over 8600 students in all 32 counties, and they need your help to meet the need.

In Randolph county, there are 350 kids who need the program, but the Food Bank can only support about 40. That leaves 310 kids in Randolph county alone that aren't currently supplied with a buddy pack during school. In Moberly, food items can be donated here at Good Radio or at Bratcher's Market. Darren White is with the Food Bank, and he shared what food items are needed.........

It takes fifteen dollars per child per month for the program, or $ 180.00 per year. If you would like to sponsor a child monetarily, you can also do that here at the stations as well

White added that if you donate in Randolph county, that money comes right back to Randolph county kids....
