CENTRALIA DRUG BUST

The Centralia Police Department announced Friday afternoon the arrest of 29-year old Simon Whisler of Centralia on a drug-related incident.
Whisler has been charged with a Class "A" Felony of Distribution of a Controlled substance, Marijuana, and a Class "B" Felony of Possession of a Synthetic Cannabinoid.
The arrest took place this afternoon on Jefferson Street without incident.
Following information of Whisler's activities, Centralia Police Chief Larry Dudgeon says an undercover drug purchase was completed; the incident was witnessed by Centralia Police Officers.
Chief Dudgeon says Whisler is on Parole for two counts of Distribution of a Controlled Substance.
Simon Whisler is housed in the Boone County Jail awaiting transport back to the Department of Corrections on a "Detainer Warrent."
