Charges have been filed against a Macon man involved in Sunday night's drive-by shooting in the 100 block of Third Street. There were no injuries in the incident.
24-year-old Jeffrey Ramsey is charged with first degree assault, armed criminal action and discharging a firearm at or from a motor vehicle. Macon Police Chief Steve Olinger says Ramsey fired a gun at four people, then fled the area. The intended victims identified Ramsey, who was arrested without incident.
Ramsey's bond has been set at $25,000 cash-only. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.
