RANDOLPH CO SERIOUS ACCIDENT







Two teenagers sustained serious injuries in a one-vehicle accident Saturday night in Randolph County. According to the Highway Patrol, the accident occurred on County Road 1205, 3/10 of a mile east of Huntsville at 11:30pm.

The Highway Patrol reports 18 year-old Drew Calvert of Moberly and 18 year-old Nicole Lunsford of Green City were passengers in the eastbound vehicle, driven by 16 year-old Jacob Johnson of Huntsville, and both passengers received serious injuries when Johnson lost control of the vehicle, causing it to run off the right side of the highway and overturn.
Both Calvert and Lunsford were transported to an area hospital for treatment by private vehicle prior to officer's arrival at the scene. Johnson was not injured.

The Highway Patrol was assisted by the Huntsville Police Department.
