HEATING ISSUES IN CENTRALIA SCHOOL DISTRICT



The Centralia School Board is seeking bids for new heating systems at both the middle school and high school. Superintendent Ford says he hopes to discuss bids offers with the board at the March 12th meeting. He estimates replacing, or at least upgrading, the heating systems at Centralia's high school and middle school will cost in the neighborhood of $1 million. Ford says low-interest energy loans would help with the financing, if the district decides to pursue the projects.
