Columbia Police have released the names of two men arrested after several recent shootings across the city.
28-year-old Malcolm Desean Redmon was arrested on a warrant for third degree assault for an an incident which happened February 11th before a shooting at the Boone Tavern. Police say Redmon, who's served time in prison, assaulted a man at the restaurant before shots were fired. Online court records show that Redmon was also charged in October with felony possession of a controlled substance, a charge that's still pending.
18-year-old Channing Taylor Williams is charged with three felony counts for a separate Friday shooting that happened at Banks and Worley Streets. Police say Williams fired three rounds, which struck a vehicle. His bond is set at $300,000.
It's unclear whether Redmon and Williams are tied specifically to a third shooting which occurred Sunday night at Columbia's Chuck E. Cheese restaurant. Columbia Police Officer Latisha Stroer:
