The Hounds improve to 14-7 on the year, and are second in Region 16 at 4-2. After State Fair's loss at Three Rivers Saturday night, Moberly is 1.5 games clear of the bottom three teams in the region. The Grizzlies are now 18-6 on the season, and 4-1 in the region.
The Lady Greyhounds, playing without head coach Chad Killinger, overcame Iowa Western 65-58 earlier in the evening. Killinger was not allowed on the sidelines, because he was ejected from the win against Crowder on Wednesday. Moberly rallied, and hit free throws down the stretch, to pull out the win.
MACC shot 27-40, 68%, from the free throw line. Ashley Stevenson was 18-22 by herself, and scored a game-high 22 points. Acting head coach Alex Wiggs, normally the lead assistant, says the Lady Hounds found a way this week...
