The company that will establish manufacturing operations at the former SEMCO building on Highway 24 in Salisbury plans to begin the hiring process in the coming months. They're expected to create dozens of jobs.

MAEDC emphasizes the importance of partnerships to bringing the project to Salisbury. President Corey Mehaffy says JC Solutions wasn't interested in the former SEMCO building when they viewed it about a year ago. Mehaffy says the building did not show well at the time and needed investment to get it ready for an industrial prospect to move into. Mr. Gaines praises Moberly developer Darin Mongler, who bought the building and improved it. Gaines says the company visited the site again and liked what they saw:
