DAYDREAM BOOKS AND ARTS MEET AND GREET


A meet and greet with Daydream Books and Arts will take place Wednesday, March 4th at Floral Hall at the Macon County Park fairgrounds from 3-6pm.  Coal Miner's Daughter will provide baked goods and refreshments.

SALISBURY KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FISH FRY


Salisbury Knights of Columbus will host a fish fry on Friday, March 6th from 4-7pm at the hall. The all you can eat meal includes fried catfish, potatoes, slaw, beans, and cornbread. Prices are $9 for adults and $5 for children.

MOBERLY EAGLE RIDERS PULLED PORK MEAL


The Moberly Eagle Riders will host a Pulled Pork Meal on Friday, March 6th from 11-2pm and 4-7pm. The cost is $8 per plate. Dine in, Carry out or Delivery. All proceeds go to the Missouri Court Appointed Special Advocate.

MASA SPRING SOCCER REGISTRATION


The Moberly Area Soccer Association will have another spring soccer registration for kids ages 4 through 14 on March 6th from 4-8pm at the MACC Activity Center. The fee is $45 for the first child, $40 for the second, and $35 for any others. The Little Kickers program for 3-year-olds in ten dollars. Late fee after March 6th is $65. MACA PRESENTS SIX APPEAL


The Moberly Area Council on the Arts brings an exciting performance by Six Appeal to the Moberly Area Community College Auditorium on Friday, March 6th starting at 7pm.  Six Appeal is an a cappella powerhouse that spans decades of classic oldies, current chart toppers and catchy original tunes. Adult Admission is $10,  students are $3.

SHOW-ME SHELBY COUNTY BUSINESS EXPO


The 6th Annual Show-Me Shelby County Business Expo, presented by Shelby County Implement and Shelby County Economic Development, will be Saturday, March 7th, from 9am-1pm at the Father Buhman Center in Shelbina.  More than 30 vendors are expected.  Admission is free, and door prizes and concessions will be available.  For more information, call Troy Renner at 573-822-9651 or Pat Greenwell at 573-588-2040.

MOTHER-DAUGHTER TEA IN MOBERLY


Moberly Parks and Recreation will conduct a Mother-Daughter Tea this Saturday, March 7th, from 2-4pm at the Lodge in Rothwell Park. There will be tea, cookies and entertainment. The cost is $10 per mother-daughter pair and $3 for each additional daughter.

BLOW CANCER AWAY BANQUET


The Monroe County Cancer Supporters "Blow Cancer Away" banquet and auction will be held Saturday, March 7th at Paris High School, at 5pm.

 

MID-MO YOUTH FOOTBALL COMBINE


The Mid-MO Youth Football Combine will be held at the MACC Activity Center Sunday March 8th.  Registration begins at 1pm, with kickoff at 2 pm.  All youth players and coaches are free, and general admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students.  For more information, contact Bobby Godwin at 660-240-9554, or visit them on Facebook at Mid-MO-Youth-Football.

POWERFUL TOOLS FOR CAREGIVERS


The Northeast Missouri Rural Health Network will be providing 'Powerful Tools for Caregivers' classes, beginning Tuesday, March 10th from 1:30-3:30pm at their office in Kirksville at 117 West Potter.  This is a free six-week educational series for anyone taking care of others, whether it's a relative or friend, in the home or elsewhere.  The program is made possible by NMRHN and the Northeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging.  Call 660-665-0330 to preregister.

TASTE OF MONROE COUNTY


The third annual Taste of Monroe County will be Tuesday, March 10th from 5-7pm at the Monroe County Senior Center. Tickets are ten-dollars each.

DOLLAR MOVIE NIGHT IN MOBERLY


Moberly Parks and Recreation will have a dollar movie night Friday, March 13th at 7pm at Municipal Auditorium, showing the movie "Jack the Giant Slayer & Maleficent". Concessions will be available.

FAMILIES OF SPECIAL OLYMPICS FUNDRAISER

TIMBER LAKE CHRISTIAN CHURCH DINNER THEATER

4TH ANNUAL WILD GAME FEED


Ironman Ministries is having its 4th Annual Wild Game Feed on Saturday, March 14th at Bethany Baptist Church in Marceline.  The featured speaker is Caleb Gordon, who also is a featured speaker at Silver Dollar City's Young Christians Weekend.  A small gathering of vendors and sponsors will be present as well, with door prizes throughout the night.  The feed starts at 6pm, with sponsors and vendors available at 4 pm.  For more information, call Joe Wright at 660-413-4601.

BENNETT FAMILY BENEFIT DINNER AT MOBERLY EAGLES


A benefit dinner and dance will be held for Richard Bennett and family this Saturday, March 14th at the Moberly Eagles. Richard Bennett Jr. and his family recently lost their home and belongings in a house fire. For only $10 per person, you will enjoy a whole hog roast dinner at 5pm, and live music starting at 7pm.

FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF LA PLATA REVIVAL


The First Baptist Church of La Plata will have revival services March 15th through the 18th. The speaker will be Evangelist Wade Paris, formerly of Kirksville and author of “The Shepherd’s Call”, and music will be provided by Bob Welsh, pastor of First Baptist Church of Moberly. Everyone is welcome.

ALTRUSA LENTON LUNCHEON


Altrusa's Lenten Luncheon is every Wednesday during Lent at Heartland Catering. The Luncheon will be from 12:10-12:50pm. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA: SPRING FOOTBALL CHEERLEADING


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you come cheer on the YMCA Football Cheerleading team for boys and girls age 3 through 6th grade. Each team will cheer at six games and all games will be played on Tuesday and/or Thursday evenings at the YMCA. Come and sign up as a team or sign up as an individual and the YMCA will find a team for you. Games start beginning the week of April 1st. The cost is $30 for members and $40 for non-members before March 9th, or $35 for members and $45 for non-members after March 9th. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA: SPRING YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to come play in the YMCA Youth Spring Flag Football League for boys and girls age 3 through 3rd grade. Each team will play six games and all games will be played on Tuesday or Thursday evenings at the YMCA. Come and sign up as a team or sign up as an individual and the YMCA will find a team for you. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA INDOOR TRIATHLON


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to participate in their month-long indoor triathlon, which consists of biking, swimming, and running/walking. The 'Y' will track each participant's progress in three divisions. The triathlon runs from April 1st-30th, and all participants receive a t-shirt. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA HEALTHY COMMUNITY DAY


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to a day of free activities and opportunities to learn about health-related community services and agencies on Saturday, April 25th from 10am-1pm. There will be free food, informational booths from local resources, a bounce house, face painting, and pony rides. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA BALLROOM DANCING LESSONS


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to sign up for ballroom dancing lessons. Private and semi-private lessons are available for singles and couples with instructor Milton Bolzendahl, who specializes in Viennese Waltz, Slow Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, and Tango. The cost is $20 for members or $80 dollars for non-members for six hour-long private lessons or twelve hour-long semi-private lessons.
