RANDOLPH AREA YMCA PRE/POST-NATAL FITNESS CLASSES


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to come try out their prenatal and postnatal fitness classes. The classes are taught by Nikki Carter who is a NAFTA certified instructor. A doctor's waiver is required to participate. Classes begin the week of October 20th and runs through December 20th. Class times are Mondays from 6-6:45pm (1st trimester) and 7-7:45pm (2nd trimester), and Thursdays from 6-6:45pm (3rd trimester) and 7-7:45pm (postnatal). MOBERLY BOOK SIGNING


Author Janice Petterchak will give a program on her new book on General Omar Bradley on Saturday, November 1st at 1:30pm at Little Dixie Regional Library in Moberly. A book signing will follow.

MOBERLY FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH HAM AND BEANS LUNCHEON


The annual Ham and Beans luncheon at the First Christian Church in Moberly is Saturday, November 1st from 11am-2pm. Tickets are $7. Children age 6 and under are free. Carry-outs are available.

JACKSONVILLE/CAIRO UNITY CHRISTIAN CHURCH LORD'S ACRE DINNER AND AUCTION


The Jacksonville/Cairo Unity Christian Church is having its annual Lord's Acre Dinner and Auction at the Cairo Christian Church Activity Center on Saturday, November 1st. The turkey dinner with all the trimmings, will be served from 4:30-6pm followed by a live auction. Adult donation: $10.  Children 5-12: $3. Children under 5 are free. A nursery will be provided.

SANTA FE CHRISTIAN CHURCH LORD'S ACRE SUPPER AND AUCTION


Santa Fe Christian Church will have a Lord's Acre supper and auction Saturday, November 1st. Dinner with turkey, ham, all the trimmings, homemade rolls and pies starts at 5pm, with the auction at 7pm.

ST. VINCENT DE PAUL BEER AND CHILI FESTIVAL


The 2nd Annual St. Vincent de Paul Beer and Chili Festival will be held this Saturday from 5-8pm at St. Pius X Gymnasium on Williams St. in Moberly. All you can eat chili made from competing chili cook off teams, fall flavors of beer and wine, homemade cinnamon rolls, and hotdogs for the kids! Tickets are $10 for adults, children 12 and under are $5, and children age 2 and under are free!

CROSSROADS CATHEDRAL ASSEMBLY REVIVAL SERVICES


Revival services with speaker Marie Richmond will be Saturday, November 1st at 7pm and Sunday, November 2nd at 10:30am at Crossroads Cathedral Assembly of God located at 229 South Allen Street in Centralia.

NORTHWESTERN R-1 SCHOOL BLOOD DRIVE


Northwestern R-1 School will have a blood drive Monday, November 3rd from 2-6pm in the multipurpose room.

HOMETOWN HOMECARE COMMUNITY MEMORIAL SERVICE


Hometown Homecare will host a Community Memorial Service Monday, November 3rd at 6:30pm in the community room of the Commerical Trust Bank in Fayette for anyone who has lost a loved one. Everyone is welcome.

COLUMBIA BRANCH RAILROAD BOOK EVENT


A book event on "The Columbia Branch Railroad" will be held Thursday, November 6th at 6:30pm at Little Dixie Regional Library in Moberly. Author Marty Paten will be there and the book will be available for purchase.

BOONE COUNTY CATTLEMEN'S ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSCHIP BANQUET


The Boone County Cattlemen's Association will have its annual scholarship banquet on Friday, November 7th at the Peachtree Catering and Banquet Center at 210 East Nifong. There will be a dinner and a live and silent auction. Tickets are 25 dollars in advance and 30 at the door. Doors open at 6pm.

MOBERLY EAGLES HAND-BREADED TENDERLOIN DINNER


The Moberly Eagles invite you to a hand-breaded tenderloin diner on Friday, November 7th from 11am-2pm and 4-7pm. $8 per plate includes baked beans and potato salad. Dine in, carry out or delivery available.

AREA CONCERT: SEVENTH DAY SLUMBER AND NINE LASHES


The band "Seventh Day Slumber" with special guest "Nine Lashes" will be featured at the Small Town America Tour stop Wednesday, November 12th, at Central Christian College of the Bible in Moberly. Doors open at 6pm with the show starting at 7pm. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door. There are discounts for youth groups. There is also gold seating available. Tickets are available at the CCCB Bookstore and Arts Appliance.

RANDOLPH AREA YMCA KIDS NIGHT OUT


The Randolph Area YMCA invites you to drop off your kids for a night of swimming, games, and a lot of fun. Pizza will be provided by the YMCA. Kids Night Out will be the second Friday of each month from 6:30-9:30pm, September through  December. The cost is $15 per child and pre-registration is required. RANDOLPH AREA YMCA COMPETITIVE SWIM TEAM


The Randolph Area YMCA invites boys and girls 6-18 years old to come swim on their competitive swim team. They will be competing in many swim meets from October through February. Practices are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 6-7:30pm beginning Monday, September 29th. Children must be able to swim a full length of the pool (25 yards) unassisted. You can register at anytime throughout the season. The cost is $40 monthly for members and $50 for non-members, plus a one-time $25 swim meet fee per swimmer.
