An autopsy has been performed on the pilot who was killed in Friday morning's plane crash near Huntsville.
Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols tells GoodRadio the autopsy was performed Monday. Nichols tells GoodRadio the victim's name hasn't been released, because authorities are waiting for confirmation of dental records. Nichols says the victim is believed to be in his mid-30s.
The Sheriff briefed us Friday at the scene, which is between Darksville and Huntsville near county road 11-70:

The Federal Aviation Administration has taken over the investigation. FAA officials arrived on the scene Friday evening.
